Effective Leadership

Welcome to Effective Leadership
A Gathering for Women in Leadership Roles

November 15-16 2019

‘Effective Leadership’ is a gathering for women in leadership roles - whatever the context or denomination. Our desire is to equip, strengthen and encourage women as they seek to be empowered in their calling. Whether you are leading a movement, pioneering a charity, planting, leading, or co-leading a church, or simply heading a significant ministry area - we would love for you to join us. We will receive great teaching from some of the most seasoned leaders and theologians around. There will also be time for mentoring and ministry as we learn what it means to navigate the challenges of leadership.

During my 25 years in ministry I have found myself writing down all the things I wish I’d had along the way. My experiences of leadership through Vineyard Music, teaching around the globe, and planting and leading a church for over 11 years, has encouraged me to make it my goal to give others what I wished I’d had been given along my own leadership journey.

This gathering is an opportunity to be equipped, strengthened and encouraged. We will meet incredible teachers, leaders and some of the funniest theologians I know! They will help our knowledge, build our understanding, and create space and opportunity for ministry. We all need people to pour into us! Although this focus will advance women, my goal is to advance the Kingdom of God. Calling is not a gender issue!

I want women to be empowered; not for platform but for obedience to where God is calling them. I want women who have influence in known and unknown ways to walk away from this time feeling encouraged and re-envisioned. I want them to feel supported and ready to run forward with all they are called to be. This will be a time for us to build in ways that will equip us to lead effectively for the long haul. It will be short but it will be full on! I hope it to be incredibly inspiring for you to meet with women who are pioneering and serving in so many ways.
